THEY’RE back – and they’re gunning for number one.
The York-based classic motorcycle team, headed by founder Kevin Pearson, journeyed to the Isle of Man for the Bank Holiday weekend classic motorbike race – the Post Classic Senior Grand Prix – on the island’s historic TT course.
Just under 12 months ago, Pearson’s team made its debut at the event and powered to an impressive second place with Glasgow-based rider Mark Buckley at the helm of the all-out attempt.

“We are aiming to be number one.
“I am aiming to be stood on the top step this year,” said the experienced rider, who had the honour of establishing a new lap record in last year’s race.

“You only get a chance to compete in this race on the TT course once a year, so I am very excited.
“We’re all definitely looking to go one step further and win.”
Besides the valuable backing of the York Suzuki Centre, Pearson said there had been worthy assistance from a host of York-based companies including Abbey Signs, NGK, Maxton, Dunlop, Putoline, EBC and Fruitique of
